A Tale of Two Idiots is the sixtieth issue of the series and the sixth season finale.
Plot[]
Samus, Oveur, the Writer, and the prisoners run out of the jungle with the smoke monster in pursuit. The other crash survivors arrive at the camp, saying that the Fangirls' camp was only 25 feet away from the crash site. The monster begins killing both Fangirls and crash survivors at random, including Michael Jackson, until Samus traps the monster in a bottle by luring it in with a Pokemon. Peter Jackson then arrives in a helicopter to save the survivors. The issue ends with Peter Jackson revealing Metroid: The Movie to a stunned Oveur and Writer.
Secret Scene[]
A cloaked figure, presumably the Future Writer, grabs the bottle containing the monster and laughs.
Parodies/References[]
- The issue's plot is a parody of Lost.
- The issue's title is a reference to Lost's third season premiere title, A Tale of Two Cities, which was in turn named after the Charles Dickens book of the same name.
