Plot[]
Samus and Oveur start driving in a Warthog, with Oveur in the driver's seat and Samus in the gunner seat. Master Chief follows in a Scorpion tank. The Future Writer attacks but is repelled by the Writer. The Future Writer hits the Warthog with a lightning bolt, knocking out Oveur and ejecting Samus. She and Master Chief are forced to go on without him. They fly Banshees up to the capital ship as the Ark reaches the 10 minute mark. Meanwhile, the duel between the Writer and the Future Writer is briefly interrupted after the Writer says "Britney Spears fights better than you!", leading Chris Crocker to appear and yell at them. The scene pans out to reveal that the two Writers are dueling in the middle of the structure.

- The issue references Chris Crocker, a Britney Spears fan whose emotional video defending her after a botched performance at the VMA awards became an overnight phenomenon.
