Cronal is a main character of the series. He appears as the primary antagonist in the Anniversary Special.
Appearance[]
Cronal is a robed figure with no hair. He is entirely white with stars covering his body.
Story[]
Cronal is a cross between a Future Writer named Jacob and a god that needed a host. The resulting merge created Cronal, who began to lord over the Future Writers. He uses the current and most famous Future Writer as his messenger, sent to kill Samus, whom a prophecy said would defeat Cronal one day. When the Future Writer fails to kill Samus before her 25th birthday, Cronal attempts to destroy the entire planet himself. He abandons the Future Writer, leading him to temporarily team up with Samus in exchange for reviving everyone he killed during the course of Issue 100. Cronal is lured into the path of his superlaser by the Future Writer, but the god separates and only Jacob is annihilated. The god attaches to the Future Writer, but Samus separates him using the vaccuum of space, and lures the god into a escape pod, which she launches into the sun.
Trivia[]
