Monster Bait is the fifty-ninth issue of the series.
Plot[]
Samus and Oveur are thrown in a cell with the Writer by Michael Jackson. He says that he will kill them by forcing them to watch 800 straight episodes of Pokemon, thus luring the jungle's Pokemon-hating monster out to kill them. Samus then says that she's never "you know" (presumably she is referring to being with someone) causing Oveur to get excited, but is shocked when she kisses the Wirter. This causes him to fire at the cell bars in his anger, inadvertently blowing it open. Everyone escapes outside but encounter the monster, revealed as a cloud of black smoke.
