The Great War, part 1 is the one hundred forty-sixth issue of the series and part 1 of a 4-part issue.
Plot[]
As a thunderstorm begins, Samus explains to Oveur and the Writer that Master Chief saved her from the lava, and that she amassed a huge army of their friends and allies to stop the Future Writer. As the battle begins, Ridley fights Dark Samus and Dracog fights Sykes. Kraid, Mother Brain, Chuck Norris, Oveur, and the Writer fend off the Dragon Minions. Master Chief and the Arbiter notice an incoming fleet of reinforcement ships.
